Accepting your offer

Check your offer letter carefully - the type of offer you have received will determine how you proceed.

Unconditional offer

• You can accept a UC unconditional offer straight away through the UC .
• If you have applied through a registered agent, they can accept on your behalf using the .
• Take note: there鈥檚 an acceptance fee outlined in your offer - you鈥檒l need to pay this. UC will email you with instructions once you have accepted.

Conditional offer

• This offer means there are requirements you need to meet before you can accept - they should be outlined in your letter.
• Any documents can be uploaded through the UC if you applied directly or the if you applied through a registered agent.
• Once you have completed your conditional offer requirements, UC will be in contact via email to confirm you can proceed with accepting your offer.
• You can now pay your acceptance fee through the if you鈥檝e applied directly. If you鈥檝e applied through an agent, your agent can do so on the .

Provisional offer

• A provisional offer from UC requires you to complete a assessment before you can accept.
• UC will send a GS assessment to you separately when you receive your provisional offer letter.
• You may also need to provide additional documentation鈥攖his will be outlined in your letter and can be uploaded via the or .
• Once you have completed your GS assessment and provided all documentation, UC will email you to confirm you can proceed with accepting your offer and paying your acceptance fee.
• You can accept your offer via the if you applied directly or the if you鈥檝e applied through a registered agent.

Next steps

Congratulations! You鈥檝e just checked off an important step on your way to becoming an international student. Now, it鈥檚 time to start preparing for life at UC! After you鈥檝e accepted your offer, you鈥檒l need to:

• Arrange your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) - a type of health insurance specifically for international students.
• Apply for your student visa as soon as you鈥檝e received your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
• Organise your accommodation so you know where you鈥檒l be living when you arrive.

Remember, UC will be in touch with your next steps, regardless of the outcome, to offer guidance and support.

Want to start university later?

At UC, we want to make sure there are flexible options available so you can organise your studies around your life. So, you have the option of accepting and starting in your preferred semester, or looking into deferral options. This allows you to take up your offer in another semester and start studying later.

Keep in mind- not all courses can be deferred. Get in contact with the UC admissions office for advice on whether this is possible for you.
